WESTERN LANE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE LIFE IN WESTERN LANE COUNTY and to PROMOTE EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY To achieve this, the Foundation: ***** Builds a permanent endowment for the community through the support of generous donors. ***** Sets high professional standards for the management of charitable gifts. ***** Provides a broad range of giving opportunities to meet donor interests. ***** Provides a responsive and responsible grants program to meet community needs. ***** Assists and cooperates with others in the effective application of charitable resources. ***** Shares information about its activities and achievements with the communty. <<<<<>>>>> Western Lane Community Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit corporation was incorporated in 1974. It is a resource for citizens to make charitable gifts and bequests that will provide continuing support to educational, medical, cultural, social and civic organizations in western Lane County.
